Yurina Kim Stinner has been practicing yoga for the last 10 years through various styles from Ashtanga to Vinyasa.
While traveling in Koh Tao, Thailand, she realized that she wanted to help others experience the joy of finally finding strength and peace through the seemingly impossible. It was then she decided to say goodbye to a decade of corporate life in the fashion industry and become a yoga teacher.
Yoga has always been about healing for Yurina. The practice nurtured her through physical and mental hardships and was medicine for her soul. She lives according to the motto that life is too short to force yourself into activities you don’t like doing. To move, breathe, and act with grace - these are the gifts yoga brings, along with a boost of confidence and self-realization to face doubts and fears within her chattering mind.
As soon as she stepped into Laughing Lotus, Yurina felt a warming spiritual hug wrapping her with love and acceptance, challenging her to embrace it back. She’s never experienced more creative yoga sequencing, more heartfelt messages during class or witnessed the true, deep love of yoga anywhere else. She’s grateful to have signed up immediately for yoga school just weeks after discovering Lotus, and she still continues to find inspiration from her teacher Jasmine Tarkeshi and mentor Robin Wilner.
In her classes, she invites you to bring your true self - with all your strengths and flaws - into the room as you discover how far you can go. Leave class feeling more empowered mentally, stronger physically, and relaxed emotionally. Experience hearty hands-on assists and intuitive alignment cues, all to the beat of an eclectic playlist that speaks to all the rays of emotions you may feel during class.
