Brima is enamored with how yoga he(art)fully reunites all parts of the human spirit as a dance with flow, breath and stillness. Since earning an MA in Counseling Psychology in 2010, he has worked and played as a psychotherapist with children and their families through use of expressive arts therapy. He shares yoga with the intention of re-awakening the rich inner world of voice, movement and wisdom that exists within all people. He draws inspiration from Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie, a deep love for dance, and his West African and Dutch Caribbean roots.
He is both humbled and overjoyed by being part of the Laughing Lotus Community. He is grateful for continuing to learn and grow in the light of his teachers Keith Borden and Jasmine Tarkeshi. He wishes to offer a special thank you to Jeremi McManus.
